Here is the July update for Concho Valley MLS Real Estate Listings for vacant land.  The information on these Concho subdivisions was complied from the White Mountain MLS Listing Service on July 22, 2008.
Concho az
Comparing July statics to June’s MLS Listing results the prices continued to hold steady.  The changes that I noticed are as follows:
concho az
1.  Fewer lots listed for sale in Concho Valley Units 1, 4, 4A, and 9A.
2.  There is a slight increase in lot listings in Concho Valley 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10.  (increased by 1 or 2 lots).
3.  The vacant lot listings in Concho Valley Unit 4A and 9 has experienced a large increase in  the top listing price.
4.  Concho Valley Unit 3 has experienced a substantial drop in the top listing price.  This is a very diverse subdivision.  The area has two section to it… North and South.   The South section has no utility services available to it at this time.  The drop in the price could represent a drop in listing for lots with the utilities to the lot line or there is a GREAT SALE going on.  This could be a good one to check out!!

Overall, Concho Valley real estate is still maintaining it’s value and proving to be a good investment.

Concho Elementary School applied for a Energy Grant from the Arizona Department of Education School Facilities Board.  The school was successful in their application and it won them over $64,000 in grant funds to help improve the school building and reduce energy cost.
Concho az
Concho Elementary will use the funds to retrofit the older section of the school building with a modern, energy-efficient T8 electronic ballast lighting system with daylight deluxe bulbs that are controlled by occupancy sensors and HVAC systems with UV-C sanitizing lights, waste gas energy recovery ventilation systems and occupancy controls.

The new equipment is currently being installed and expected to be completed before school starts in August. The proposal includes a significant reduction of lamps in the lighting fixtures as compared to the existing the old fixtures. The estimated annual savings to the school is expected to be over $8,000 and over 81,000 kwh of electricity.
